Google API Policy

Overview

Lyfe Forge integrates with Google Search Console (GSC) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to provide analytics and content opportunity features within the platform. This policy describes how we handle data obtained through Google APIs and confirms our compliance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Limited Use of Google User Data

Lyfe Forge’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This means:

  • We only request access to the Google data scopes necessary to provide the features you use within Lyfe Forge
  • We use your Google data only to provide the analytics dashboard and content opportunity features you see in the platform
  • We do not sell your Google data to third parties
  • We do not use your Google data for advertising purposes
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you have given us explicit permission to do so for support purposes, or it is required for security, legal compliance, or platform improvement purposes as permitted by policy
  • We do not share your Google data with third-party apps or services beyond what is necessary to operate the platform

What Google Data We Access

Google Search Console

  • Search performance data (queries, impressions, clicks, positions)
  • URL coverage information
  • Sitemap status

This data is used to populate the Search Performance dashboard in Lyfe Forge and to surface content gap and ranking opportunities.

Google Analytics 4

  • Traffic metrics (sessions, users, page views)
  • Conversion and goal data
  • Traffic source attribution

This data is used to show how your content is driving traffic and conversions within the Lyfe Forge analytics dashboard.

Data Retention

Google data retrieved for your dashboard is cached temporarily to improve performance. We do not store your Google property data beyond what is needed for the current reporting period displayed in your dashboard. You may disconnect your Google accounts at any time via your Lyfe Forge account settings, which will delete all cached Google data.

Data Security

Your Google API credentials are stored using industry-standard encryption. Access to your Google data within our systems is strictly controlled and limited to the core platform processes that power your dashboard features.

You can revoke Lyfe Forge’s access to your Google accounts at any time by:
